Abandoned Scrawny Maine Seal Is Now A Fat New Yorker [SEE PICS!]

Look at him now! This once abandoned harbor seal pup is no longer sick and scrawny. The handsome fellow is living it up in the Big Apple!

The seal was found on Scarborough Beach, Maine in May of 2017 when he was just a few days old, by a team from Marine Mammals of Maine, according to its official Facebook page. They reported that he was in critical condition when rescued and taken to the MMoM center, where he was weaned back to health. The pup was tagged and then released in September of 2017, after making a miraculous recovery.

A photographer took these pictures of the now grown-up and perfectly healthy seal hanging out on the crew docks at Columbia University.
