Which New England State Has The Rudest People?

Moving to Maine from the South has been a unique experience for me. There's a different vibe among the people. I'm used to southern hospitality, having lived primarily in Florida and Texas. So when the door gets slammed in my face when I'm walking into a building behind another person, a cashier rolls her eyes at me, or a pedestrian yells at me when I have the right of way, I am caught off guard.

While there are ill-mannered people everywhere in the world, I wanted to know which New England state has the rudest people, according to your experience.
