Weekend: NH Highland Games, Fair Season Begins and an Adult Bounce House [VIDEO]

Here's some fun stuff happening this weekend.

Insane Inflatable 5K

This Saturday thousands of athletes will seek to conquer the one of a kind Insane Inflatable 5K course at Scarborough Downs.

People can register for the Insane Inflatable 5K event as individuals or as teams to  take on the massive course that consists of several inflatable obstacles that  will test their athletic ability and agility and provides loads of fun.

The event is sponsored by Townsquare Media Portland and a portion of the  proceeds will benefit Camp  Sunshine, which supports children with life threatening illnesses and their  families.

39th annual New Hampshire Highland Games:

Scottish clans from across New England the across the pond will gather at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, N.H., this weekend for the Highland Games that include Scottish athletic events, bagpipers, marching bands, food and lots of live entertainment. If Scotland ends up breaking away from the United Kingdom, this could be the most festive Highland Games yet. Aye!

Common Ground Fair:

Common Ground Fair[/caption]September 19, 20 & 21, 2014 Gates open at 9 a.m. each day. Vendors open until 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. on Sunday. The fair is located at 294 Crosby Brook Road in Unity, Maine.
