WMTW's Roger Griswold says the snow will start this afternoon and last through tomorrow morning. Heavy snow is possible tonight. Parts of Maine and New Hampshire could see 8 to 12 inches, especially in the mountains, according to WMTW. Then tomorrow, it will change to a mix of snow and rain for some areas.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of New England, except for the coast where a winter weather advisory has been issued.

The snow and ice could make for a miserable commute tomorrow morning. WMTW says cancellations and delays are likely.
