Story of Animal Kindness with Happy Ending [PHOTOS]

A dog trapped in a Tampa, Fla., river found a friend while waiting to be rescued. Doggy couldn't get over the seawall and was stuck in the water yelping for help.

A friendly manatee swam over to the wet dog and stayed by his side until he could be rescued by the Tampa Police Department Marine Patrol.  The dog was covered in insect bites and bloody paws but will be fine and has been returned to his home. We've heard of comfort dogs.  It looks like this little pooch has a comfort manatee. You have to love animals and the kindness they show.
