Back in the era of free love, being naked was a pretty popular thing. Nudist colonies were abundant. In fact, did you know that there was one in Durham, Maine?

Back in the 60's, this place was a very well kept secret. People only learned of it through word of mouth. And once you found the place (located in the middle of nowhere), you were sworn to secrecy.

Recently, photographer and historian Tia Nadeau went to the site to take pictures of what was left.
