Traffic Alert: Major Road Closure Planned In Auburn Wednesday And Thursday

An on-ramp near the Auburn Mall will be closing later this week, so that a catch basin can be replaced. From 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16 until 9 a.m. Thursday, August 17, the on-ramp from Center Street to Mount Auburn Avenue will be closed.

Detour signs will be posted, but essentially if you want to get to Mount Auburn Avenue from Center Street, you'll need head up Center Street and turn left onto Joline Street after Rowe Auburn, then left onto Turner street, past the traffic circle to get to where you wanted to go.

Luckily, most of the work is overnight. However, it does creep a bit into the morning commute, so plan accordingly.
