That Time I Hacked The Time & Temperature Sign
I'm incredibly fortunate to have gotten the job of Brand Manager and Morning Show host of 94.9 HOM. Here's what helped me seal the deal.
This was a position that attracted interest from candidates in the radio industry from all over the country. I wanted it more than anything, and I knew that I had to do something to stand out, get noticed, and be memorable. So...I hacked the Time & Temperature Building sign!
The sign is right on the other side of Monument Square, in plain sight of the 94.9 HOM offices and studios. I knew that if I wanted to get the attention of the managers, this would surely be the way to do it.
Okay...so maybe I didn't actually hack the sign. Perhaps there was a little photoshop magic involved here. Nonetheless, it served it's purpose - it was a fun and creative way to get noticed, and I like to think it helped me seal the deal. Luckily I didn't really have to hack the sign...if I did, I'd probably be sitting in a jail cell instead of the 94.9 HOM studio!
