Remember the Figueroa family from Nottingham, New Hampshire? Branson Figueroa is the young man who underwent skull surgery back in 2019. The family has actually relocated across the country so that Branson can receive the best possible care for his condition.

Branson's mom Heather told me that this year has been their most difficult year yet. Between COVID and having to move to a new state, stress levels have been very high. According to WMUR, Branson's sister Emberlyn has been feeling a little down in the dumps lately due to all of the struggles her family has been facing. Enter her dad, Erik, who will do just about anything to make his kids smile. Case and point:

Erik, if you are reading this, WELL DONE SIR! Not only did you succeed in making Emberlyn smile, you also brought smiles to the faces of TONS of people in Northern New England!

Heather Figueroa says her husband Erik comes off as a big tough marine but he he truly melts for their kids and is actually a teddy bear. She also said:

"We are so blessed for Erik. No matter what low we stumble upon, he is our rock and always knows how to keep us calm and smile. Family is the most precious gift. Always cherish it."

Well said, Heather. There is truly nothing more important in this life than family. <3
