Proposed Memorial Skate Park In North Conway Holding Fundraiser
The Kevin Peare Memorial Skate Park committee
is looking to raise funds to build a skate park.
This skate park is being built in memory of Kevin Peare.
Conway native, skateboarding advocate, and great human being.
Kevin’s dream as a young boy was to have a skate park in Conway.
After his death in July of 2017 , His sister Caren Wiggin reached out to
The Tony Hawk Foundation to make his childhood dream a reality .
Your donation supports our efforts to build a State of the Art Skate Park.
The need of this park is not just about the fun . It is about having a
designated place for the skateboarding community, At this time they are using
the street , vacant lots , and places like Settlers Green to skateboard.
● This park will be a free, safe clean outdoor space for the skateboarding community.
● The design will compliment the landscape of The Mount Washington Valley
● Slated to be 10,000 sq ft . Cost to build is estimated to be $45 a square ft
● The Park will take 2 to 5 years to come to completion
● The Tony Hawk foundation is guiding the KPMSP committee
● Most of the fundraising will be done grassroots and through grants
● This is a non-profit adventure and all donations are tax deductible.
