Portland Farmers’ Market Gets Sun Shiny Day [Photos]
Every Wednesday morning we watch the Portland Farmers' Market set up in Monument Square, Portland. I took a little tour around the market to see what they're offering this week. One of the best things that happened today is that the farmers' market finally got some good weather that will hopefully boost their sales.
I spoke with Dick Piper owner of The Grass Farmer. I test tasted the Italian Dried sausage. Love it! He's offering lots of other meat products from 100% grass fed beef.
The early produce is coming in. Radishes, rhubarb, lettuce and asparagus are plentiful. The hours are 7 am to 1 pm.
I'm always drawn to the bright pretty flowers.
You'll find everything from bread to cheese to eggs...sounds like a meal to me!
The monument of Nike is the perfect back drop to the market.
