WalletHub put together a list of the "Best Places For Halloween," and only one New England city made the Top 25. That city is Boston, Massachusetts and it is number 21 on the list. Why? Boston ranked fairly high in two key categories: friendliness of trick-or-treaters and Halloween fun. Boston did not rank well in the Halloween weather metric as per WalletHub's research. The latter is not surprising to anyone.

New York is the "Best Place To Go For Halloween" followed by Jersey City, obviously not because of the weather, but for the other factors.

By the way, WalletHub says the average U.S. household is expected to spend $86.79 on Halloween expenses, this year. That amount includes candy, costumes and decorations.
