New Hampshire Opens Up New COVID-19 Vaccination Website
New Hampshire opened up its new vaccination website on Wednesday and adds Phase 2A to the list of those eligible to receive it
The new site at vaccines.nh.gov will be state managed with a Vaccine & Immunization Network Interface (VINI) and allow real time adjustments. Users will be able to reschedule an appointment without having to cancel their original appointment first. 211operators will also be able to use the site to make appointments over the phone.
The previous site, was federally managed.
According to the state website a total of 154,437 people, or 11.4% of the population, have been vaccinated.
55,000 individuals eligible under Phase 2A will be able to make appointments starting Thursday, ahead of the originally announced date of Monday, March 22.
Phase 2A includes:
- K-12 schools
- Licensed child care settings
- License-exempt settings enrolled with the NH DHHS – Bureau of Child Development
- Municipal or other recreation programs providing before and/or after school, vacation, or summer youth programming
- Head Start and Early Head Start Programs
- Licensed youth camps
Eligibility will grow even more on Monday when any individual between age 50 and 64 will be able to make appointments starting at 8 a.m. Those first vaccinations will be given on Thursday, March 25.
