Seacoast Online reports that after years of the gas station on Islington Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, being empty and abandoned, there's new, delicious life. Delightful bagels with Getty Bagels!

The Getty Bagel has just opened after the run-down gas station that was just sitting unused for years! They also have cartoon bagel characters called 'doughberts', and bring your dog to the outside patio!

Get crazy with innovative cream cheese flavors at Portsmouth's The Getty Bagel

To get everyone excited, Getty Bagel started a 'schmear campaign' where they had rip-and-dip bagels with all sorts of fun cream cheeses. Seacoast Online says they had maple bacon, blueberry sumac, chili crisp scallion, and caramelized onion. Plus the vibe is cool and young! Isaiah Cornwell, an employee, said,

It’s great to see something new here.
