UPDATED: Suspect in Abigail Hernandez Case Held on $1M Bail [PHOTOS]
UPDATED, Tuesday, 2:45 p.m.: A Gorham man charged with kidnapping Abigail Hernandez in October 2013 and holding her against her will for nine months was ordered held on $1 million bail, according to WMTW.
The Portland television news station reported that the affidavit has been sealed and no further details about the case were revealed in court or by authorities following Nathaniel Kibby's arraignment in Conway Circuit Court. Kibby has been charged with one count of felony kidnapping.
Earlier story: The New Hampshire Attorney General's office announced that a Gorham, N.H., man was arrested Monday and charged with kidnapping Abigail Hernandez in October 2013, according to WGME.
The Portland television news station reported that Nathaniel E. Kibby, 34, was charged with one count of felony kidnapping for knowingly confining Abigail Hernandez on Oct. 9, 2013 in Conway, New Hampshire. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at 1 p.m., at the 3rd Circuit, District Division, Conway District Court, in Conway, New Hampshire, according to WGME.
Henandez returned home to her parents on Sunday, July 21 after she was reported missing for nine months.
