Okay now, let’s be honest, everyone has their bagel spot they go to for their breakfast fix. You know, the one you swear is better then “New York's finest” and that you’ll defend in any casual conversation to the death.
Well, ladies and gets it’s time to put those opinions to the at the very first ever, Maine Bagel Bake-Off. It’s taking place this Saturday at the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust Farmers Market at Crystal Spring Farm.
Whether you're an onion bagel with chive cream cheese type (like me), a fan of bold flavors, or you keep it classic with plain, this event's for you!
Who Makes the Best Bagel in Maine? Find Out This Weekend
Here’s the deal, some of Maine’s best “bagelers” are going to meet head to head in the most ultimate baking showdown. Of few of the competitors include Dutchman’s, Scratch Baking Co., and Forage Market. This will be a super tough call, as they are all legendary spots.

As per the site, tickets are $10 and available at the door. There will be samples, many, many samples. Plus,. You ‘ll get to vote and debate on which bagel you think reigns supreme.
