Of all the vehicles you'll see on the roads in Maine, this one is guaranteed to make you turn your head.

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe

The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe debuted in 1979 and has entertained children for decades. There wasn't much to it, but it was just the size for a young child who could use their feet to make the car go.

According to Wikipedia, this little toy car sold more cars than the Honda Accord and Ford Taurus. That's impressive. Today the Cozy Coupe sells online for $50 to $60, a lot cheaper than a real car.

Erica Osbourne shared this photo with us, which she posted on the Windham, Maine Community Board on Facebook. This is a street-legal car that has been painted to look like the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, right down to the Little Tikes logo on it. It has been spotted in several places in the area.

Here's a Street Legal Cozy Coupe in Action

We're not 100% sure whose street-legal Cozy Coupe this is, but there are rumblings in the comments of the Windham, Maine Community Board about it belonging to a man named Kenneth Johnston. Several comments call him out as being behind this.

Tammy Smith: "Kenneth Johnston at it again?"

Joshua Pollard: "Ken’s the best! Guys gonna be locally famous."

Debbie Damon Small: "We love your little car Ken."

So all signs point to Ken Johnston as the owner of the car. Regardless of whose it is, it's turning heads and putting smiles on people's faces as it gets spotted around Southern Maine.
