The Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour of New Hampshire Sure is Sweet
Jackson, New Hampshire, has so much to offer visitors in any season, but the town really shines in the winter. There's hiking, sleigh rides, shopping, skiing, great restaurants, and so much more.
If you a lover of chocolate, this little gem will really pique your interest. For the 5th year, the town of Jackson will offer the very popular Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour around the community.
If that's not enough, it's on an Austrian horse-drawn sleigh, to make it extra special.
While you do not get out of the sleigh on the one-hour tour, you do receive a jingle bell, and are greeted by each shop owner and given handmade chocolate.
According to jacksonnh.com, "The $45 ticket purchase includes a Jingle Bell, a festive bag to hold any uneaten hand-made chocolate treasures, a horse drawn Austrian sleigh ride through Jackson Village and 8 to 10 hand-made chocolates presented to you right in your sleigh at each stop along the way."
The event is presented by the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce, and the chocolatiers all donate the sweets each year in hopes the chocolate lovers return to frequent their shops.
Here's how to get tickets. While the tours are only available on weekends in November and December, you can buy ticket year-round with a stay at any of the featured properties.
Those properties are the Snowflake Inn, Christmas Farm Inn & Spa, the Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa, RiverWood Inn, Nestlenook, the Inn at Jackson, the Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club, the Wentworth, A White Mountain Inn, or at the J-Town Deli & Country Store.
You can also call the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce at 603-383-9356 year-round for tickets.
