New England is a melting pot, perhaps even more diverse than most of the country, with much diversity, as people settled here for the four seasons and the beautiful scenery.

With the emergence of organic foods, and the need to provide non-processed foods to our educated populations, this is how to find fresh Italian foods within the state of New Hampshire.

Yes, New Hampshire has some great Italian restaurants, but an Italian market is something altogether different.

An Italian market sells sausage, cheeses, pasta, pasta sauces, olive oil, honey, chocolates, herbs, candles, and more.  If you go further North from the Seacoast, the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is brimming with all types of cultural delights.

Lakes Region Offers Year Round Artisanal Delights

The Italian Market in Laconia, New Hampshire provides the taste and aroma of Italy in it's offerings.  Just look here to find a huge selection of cheeses like you were in Parma, Italy, or any other smaller Italian village.

The aromas of Giancarlo & Tucci candles from Italy include 'Sipping Amaretto in Milan', and 'Cozy Casa' taking you to Montepulciano, and 'Lemon Picking in Amalfi'.  If you want to be transformed (at least mentally) back to Italy, these candles will do it.

What I miss most about Italy are the sandwiches made on warm ciabatta bread and stuffed full of goodness with fresh meats and cheeses.

At The Italian Market, you can order fresh made sandwiches stuffed with meats and cheeses.

If you are not hungry after reading this, I don't think Italian food is your thing. By the way, there's no pizza here.
