The culinary experts at Food Network toured the country and shared their results with pizza lovers on where you can find the best slices in every single state in the nation.

Their choice for Maine isn't necessarily a surprise. Food Network believes Otto's classic pepperoni or their mashed potato are the slices that everyone should reach for. Otto has been receiving praise for their pizza slices for years. For a short time, they were the preeminent spot of get pizza in Portland, late night or otherwise.

Otto Has Made an Aggressive Expansion Thanks to Popularity

What started as one simple pizza shop in Portland, Maine, has expanded into a mini pizza empire in a short amount of time.

Otto now operates 12 locations throughout the state of Maine. They've also expanded into other New England states. In fact, Otto has become so popular in Massachusetts, they have more Massachusetts pizzarias than Maine ones.
