You’re Not Alone, There Really Is An Issue With Facebook – Maine, New Hampshire, & Massachusetts Take Note

If you have been having problems with Facebook this afternoon, you are not alone.

According to Down Detector, there has been a significant spike in reported problems with the major social media platform.  The first spike in reported problems happened just before 3 PM eastern.  Then, just after 4 PM, there was another, much larger, spike.

As far as we know, there has been no official statement from Meta.

What we do know is that the problems only seem to be happening for people that are using a laptop or tablet to use Facebook from the Facebook.com website.  If you are using the app or the business suite, everything works as it should.
