For the last few days, meteorologists all over the country have been talking about how the eastern part of the United States was going to see some really nasty weather this coming week.  They have been talking about how it could make travel to grandma's house for Thanksgiving difficult.

So, the big question is: "are we going to be affected by this nasty weather in Maine and New Hampshire?"

The answer?  Probably not.

According to Weather.com, much of the eastern part of the country, including the Great Lakes Region, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts will see some rain and maybe some snow on Monday and Tuesday.  There is a chance that weather could cause a few flight delays.  However, it looks like, that weather will have completely dissipated by Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, locally we will see some rain on Sunday and Monday.  Of course, there is a good chance that we could see a few snow flakes or freezing rain.  However, by Tuesday we will be back to sunny skies.

Here in Central Maine, Thanksgiving will be absolutely beautiful!  We're looking at sun with a high of 47 degrees.

Keep in mind that this post was written based on meteorological reports from 11 AM on November 20th, 2021.  There is always a chance that weather patterns could shift, leading to a much different forecast.
