I spend a lot of time on Google Street View. I know, that's a little odd, but whenever I want to find a place, looking at just the map isn't enough. I almost always go to the street view.

Today I was looking for an old location on Middle Street in Portland and as I clicked my way along the street, I noticed two women in front of the Ocean Gateway parking garage and one of them was doing...um...something.

It caught my attention because this woman is not standing like a normal person would on the sidewalk.

As I moved down the street it became clear that whatever she was doing, it was because she spotted the Google car coming down Middle Street and decided she'd take a shot at immortalizing herself on Google Maps.

Now her friend is looking right at the car, so there's no doubt now that this woman was shaking it for all the world to see. Google is pretty good about blocking out faces on street view, so the woman will remain a mystery. Maybe.

The images were taken in July of 2018, so we know where they were taken and about when they were taken. Maybe you know this woman? If so, tell her she's famous. If you decide you'd like to be famous, just look for the Google Street View Car to pop up in your neighborhood. It's hard to miss.
