The leaves were turning this weekend on a beautiful day so we decided to take a drive from Waterford Maine to Gorham, N.H., to "leaf peep" and stopped at this old railroad station. The Gorham Historical society has preserved this old Grand Trunk railroad station and has several old locomotives and rail cars on display. The station still sits next to an active rail line operated by the St. Lawrence and Atlantic Railway which took over the line once the Grand Trunk was sold off by Canadian National.

If you have a kid who likes trains of if you like history, it's a nice little place to stop. It's closed on Sunday's though so plan accordingly. We found out the hard way.
