How do You Feel About Kim Kardashian Giving This Two-Hour Speech at Harvard?
I recently wrote about Kim Kardashian being in Boston this past weekend and the comments flooded in quickly filled with “who cares?” and “I don’t give a sh^t’s”.
Well, funny enough, I can see the analytics for how many people did in fact care by those who clicked on the article, and while you may say you don’t give a crap, you’re here reading this right now, aren’t ya?
Whether you love her or hate her, part of you is curious as to why she was in our neighborhood.
Kim Kardashian in Boston
In the previous article, all I knew was that Kim Kardashian had posted a picture on her Instagram of the new MLK monument in Boston, which obviously meant she was in Boston. I wasn’t sure why she was there but now we know.
Kim Kardashian just gave a two-hour speech at the Harvard Business School.
This grinds some gears because when you think of a Kardashian, you definitely don’t think about Harvard.
Well, suck it up buttercup, cause the Kardashian was invited to one of the most prestigious business schools in the country to give a speech to students paying top-dollar tuition.
Kim Kardashian Gives a Speech at Harvard Business School
So, what was the speech about?
What could a Kardashian possibly have to say about ‘business’.
No, it was not about Kim’s iconic filmmaking that got her rich in the first place, but rather one of her many businesses, SKIMS, which is a line of buttery-smooth intimates, shapewear, and clothing that hugs your body in all the right places and makes you look leaner than you actually are.
The TV star posted on Twitter sharing her experience, stating that she spoke at the business school on Jan. 20 for a class called HBS Moving Beyond DTC for a class assignment learning about her business, SKIMS.
She and her partner went to the school and gave a two-hour speech about their marketing, challenges, and their greatest wins.
She also posted a photo with the group of students she spoke to.
Now, you can say what you want and you can love her or hate her, but regardless of your stance on Kim Kardashian, we all know you would find it interesting and at least entertaining to hear her talk about ‘business’ for two hours straight.
I don’t care who you are or how you feel, if Kim Kardashian walked into your school or business, you would have a moment of awe and nobody can deny it.
Just like I despise Donald Trump but if he was in the same room as me I would be like, holy s^#$ that’s Donald Trump.
Plus, when it comes down to it, I know she’s seen as dramatic, dumb, annoying, whatever, but we can all agree to some extent we are jealous of her.
She has all the money in the world and can get paid to do absolutely nothing and if I could spend even one day in her designer shoes, I would and you probably would, too.
Sure, there are better people who could have given a better speech but it is still pretty cool.
But before you harp on me, yes I do believe if someone was going to give a speech about business to students in debt that it should have been a self-made businessperson who started from the bottom after college and made it big.
I'm just being positive, okay?
