Big Moose Harley-Davidson Moving Out of Portland, Maine
Big Moose Harley-Davison is leaving Portland, Maine for Gorham, Maine.
Big Moose Harley-Davidson will move from Riverside Street in Portland to Main Street in Gorham according to Mainebiz. It's where the old Crocket Interiors was. A perfect location for Big Moose.
What makes this location in Gorham, Maine perfect for Big Moose?
This location has nearly 28,000 square feet in the building, plus lots of parking on a big lot that's just under 4 acres. Plus, great visibility with over 21,000 cars passing daily according to Mainebiz. It's going to be a great addition for Gorham. But why after all this time is Big Moose moving?
The owners told Mainebiz, that the building they are currently in on Riverside Street is an older building that's been pieced together over the years. Updates would have been tough to properly represent the Harley-Davidson brand.

When will the new Big Moose in Gorham, Maine be open?
They are starting demolition inside immediately and are shooting for late October of 2025 according to Mainebiz. Don't worry, the 15 employees in Portland will be moved to Gorham. Plus research shows that a lot of riders live in the Gorham area, so they can be serviced better. The plans and rendering of the new place are very exciting.
I am very excited for Big Moose and hope to work with them in the future for Bikers for Boobies. We have often started our 100+ mile bike run to raise money for breast cancer victims in Maine from Big Moose in Portland. It would be amazing to start from the new Gorham location.
Congratulations Big Moose! It is the perfect move for your guys!
