Most people have heard of Ghislaine Maxwell in association with the very high-profile Epstein scandal.

But did you know that she actually had a not-so-little hideaway in the state of New Hampshire? Yep! And it just hit the market for a whopping $2.5 million dollars, according to New York Post.

The home is currently up for sale by Margaret Weathers of the luxury real estate agency, Four Seasons Sotheby’s.

The estate is on 156 acres and is sitting pretty, tucked away in the mountains. This is the home where federal agents caught up with her back in 2020.

The home was purchased for $1.1 million in 2019 through a shell company under the fake name “Janet Marshall," as per the article.

The property is gorgeous with gorgeous 360 views, a timber-framed main house and even a guest house that was converted from a barn.

It has a very rustic vibe, exactly what you’d expect from a hidden mountain home like this.

As per the post, the FBI agents tracked her in this very remoted home after she was on the run for months. It was one of the most intense manhunts in recent memory.

Since then, she has been sitting in jail and was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the Epstein scandal.

Now, five years later, the secluded home is back on the market and this time, it’s listed publicly and more than double what it was paid for initially. Obviously, there is not mention of the scandal in the listing description, but we all know.

The next big question is, who’s going to buy this puppy?

Either way, it’s a unique slice of history hiding right here in New Hampshire’s wilderness.
