Live in One of These Maine Towns? Get Into Gardens Aglow Free on November 18
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is gearing up for its eighth annual seasonal celebration, Gardens Aglow. This one of a kind event is perfect for you to bring your family and friends to this Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Get ready to walk through more than 750,000 LED lights that take over 14 acres of the gardens.
For the past couple of years, due to the pandemic, this amazing walk thru event was turned into something that you were able to drive through, however, this year the event is going back to it's roots.
Gardens Aglow is set to open on November 19th and go through December 31st. However, this experience will only be open on Thursdays to Sundays.
There is a way that you would be able to go a day before they open, according to Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, Gardens Aglow will be open on November 18th where a select group of Maine residents will be able to attend the event for free.
If you reside in the Boothbay Peninsula (Edgecomb, Southport, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, East Boothbay, Trevett, and West Boothbay) and can show proof of residency, then you will be able to attend the complimentary evening at Gardens Aglow on the 18th from 4 to 9 pm.
If you do not reside in that area, no worries, you can still attend Gardens Aglow during their normal operating dates.
Normal ticketing prices are $18 for Seniors (65+), $10 for Children (3-17), $16 for Adults, or you can choose to get a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) for $45. Children under the age of 3 will receive free admittance.
If you are a member, then ticket prices will be lower. Members can get an adult ticket for $14 and $8 for children.
