Time Is Running Out To Attend ‘Gardens Aglow’ in Boothbay

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, located at 105 Botanical Gardens Drive, in Boothbay, is truly a magical experience. It opened in 2007, and it has been named of Maine's top attractions. It's gardens and landscape include nearly a mile of tidewater shoreline. The gardens see on average about 200,000 guests a year from all over the world.
A driving tour of magical lights, trees and decorations is taking place, each Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:30-8:30pm, until January 1st of 2022. If you are doing the math at home, that leaves just a few opportunities to enjoy this breathtaking display!
Gardens Aglow will once again light up the Boothbay peninsula for the seventh year in a row Gardens Aglow will accommodate safety protocols necessary for large events. Gardens Aglow is illuminated by nearly 650,000 energy-efficient LED bulbs, which is nearly 60 miles of lights! Very cool.
The cost is $40 per nonmember car, and $30 per member car.
Safety is the main reason that this will once again be a driving event. The walking version of Gardens Aglow normally has thousands of people in close proximity at any time, so due to the ongoing delta variant, this course of action was chosen to keep everyone safe
