If something caused you to stumble as you were on your way to get another drink or to use the bathroom, it wasn't the six White Claws or Twisted Teas you had.  Apparently, the Portland-area had a small earthquake just after midnight this morning (September 25th, 2021).

According to WCSH 6, at about 12:23 this morning, a 2.1 magnitude quake, centered near Smugglers Cove off Cape Elizabeth, rumbled the area.

According to the USGS, the quake was centered at 43.605°N 70.211°W and happened at s depth of 13 kilometers.

So far, about 20 people in the area reported feeling the rumble.  If you felt it, you can report it HERE.
