Even though our situation is way more normal this summer than it was last summer, it doesn't mean we need to completely ditch all drive-in events.

You have to admit there is something magical, and old school, about packing the family into the car (or SUV) and driving to an event.  You can set the AC how cold you want it, eat the snacks you want, drink the beverages you want (obviously, be responsible), talk to your friends or family without disturbing over people, etc.

Well, if you love the idea of drive-in events, you are going to love the event that is going to take place in Bangor later this month.

The Cabin Fever Laser Light Show will light up the Cross Insurance Center from Thursday, August 26th through Sunday, August 29th.  There'll be a show on Thursday, two shows on Friday, two shows on Saturday, and a show on Sunday.

Tickets will cost $29.99 for a general admission carload pass.  Rows 2-7 will be $60 for a carload pass.  If you want the front row, it will be $99.99.  When you think about the fact you can fit somewhere between 4-6 people in a vehicle (depending on how big your vehicle is), it really is a decent deal.

According to the website, the show is described as:

The Drive-In Laser Light Show by Cabin Fever! Pile into your raddest ride and come our for the fantastic Drive-In Laser Show. The Laser Shows include some of your favorite Musical Hits from Current Hits to Classic Rock! All choreographed with cutting-edge effects, high-powered lasers, and DUAL large screen video projection!

Check out this video from a show that took place at a Florida fairground back in February of 2021.
