Land Ho! Columbus Discovers South Portland [VIDEO/PHOTOS]

The Columbus replica ships Nina & Pinta have arrived in South Portland and are open for tours.  You can board the ships off the docks of South Port Marine.

The ships are open for tours now through Sunday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Niña & Pinta are replicas of the ships on which Columbus sailed across the Atlantic on his three voyages of discovery to the new world beginning in 1492.  They are floating museums and visit ports all over the Western Hemisphere.
