If you had a child in the last 10 years you've probably heard them demand their kids Kindle so they could watch Blippi.

Long gone are the days of Saturday Morning Cartoons or relying on Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. Kids now can get unlimited entertainment on demand thanks to YouTube and Blippi is one of the staples.

Blippi got his YouTube start back in 2014 and has amassed a huge fanbase with billions of streams and growing to other streaming platforms. He's currently sitting pretty on YouTube with over 14 million subscribers.

If you're not familiar with Blippi he's a grown man that dresses in a bright blue shirt and orange suspenders and learns all about the world around him and teaches his viewers using child-friendly language.

Blippi the Musical

Now Blippi is heading out on the road with Blippi the Musical. In fact, the tour is kicking off in Portland, Maine on Friday, February 4th at Merrill Auditorium and then with a show in Bangor at the Cross Insurance Center on Sunday, February 6th.

According to the Blippi the Musical website, fans can expect "an interactive, family-friendly show...of fun, dancing, and singing."

If you really want to treat your kiddo there's even a meet and greet photo experience available.

So if you want to sing along to "The Excavator Song" and 12 others, tickets go on sale Friday, November 19th at 10am.
