Bill Belichick Dismissed A Boston Reporter’s Request For A Selfie And It Was Hilarious
In my opinion, all of the press conferences leading up to the Superbowl are a big 'ol waste of time. They just ask the players and coaches the most obvious questions:
Reporter: So are you going to try to win on Sunday?
Coach: Yeah, we're definitely going to try and win.
Reporter: How do you plan on doing that?
Coach: We're just going to go out there and give it our all and not stop trying until we win.
Next question please.
Though Anthony "Spaz" Parziale's question to Bill Belichick was ridiculous and embarassing (for him), at least it broke up the monotony.
Spaz said that he knew his question was unique but heck, he decided to ask it anyway! He asked if big Bill would be willing to take a selfie with him. Belichick brushed the question off and said they would take one later. Then Spaz suggested he would just run up to the podium and have Bill wave behind him for the picture. Bill stood there silent for a few seconds and then someone finally yelled, "next question!"
This moment was so awkard and glorious at the same time!
