Brayden Nadeau was only 10 when he started his first vegetable stand.

He can't drive a car yet, but he's an expert behind the wheel of a tractor! He's been farming since he was little, which is funny since he's only 12. But his grandfather, Dan Herrick, who has always had a farm at his home, has basically turned the operation over to his grandson.

Brayden runs the whole thing and made enough money the first two years at his vegetable stand to buy a new one! According to News Center Maine, he sells everything that he grows from seed. He also makes (with some help from family and people in the area) zucchini bread and zucchini relish. And yes, they are made from veggies he's grown.

Oh and if that wasn't enough, he also raises livestock and turkeys for meat, chickens for meat and eggs, and pigs for meat and breeding. He worked 12 hours a day, seven days a week this summer and during the school year he picks vegetables in the morning and sets up the farm stand before heading to school. Doesn't he miss TV and video games? Nope.

His grandfather said it best,

It teaches him business, it teaches him how to work, it teaches him to stay out of trouble, it teaches him where food comes from, and it teaches him that without farmers, there's no food.

How many 12-year-olds do you know like this? Not many and that's why he caught the attention of the Rachel Ray Show!

Oh impressive, but the fame doesn't stop there. Lester Holt from NBC Nightly News also had a story about this incredible kid.

His goal is to raise $100,000 by the time he graduates. Oh, I have a feeling this kid will have no problem doing that and more! I'm team Brayden all the way!
