Anabel’s Angels Makeover Winner: Lorraine Has Beat Cancer Twice
Every Friday in October, we're giving someone who is currently dealing with cancer or who has survived it a makeover, courtesy of Anabel's Angels, a 501c3 nonprofit organization designed to provide support to underfunded clinical trials and programs for the terminally ill and physically afflicted.
Lorraine Petraccone is originally from Salem, New Hampshire and now lives in Waterford, Maine. Lorraine's husband nominated her for a makeover, and wrote the following about her.:
I met my wife in 2003, just after going though breast cancer. I lived in Central Massassachusetts, and she lived in Salem, N.H. We met on Matchmaker. We moved to Maine in 2004, got married 2007, and have been very happy until February 2018, when she was told she had rectal cancer. Well, she beat this, too.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is Anabel's Angels and 94.9 HOM's hope to bring light into our listeners' lives and put smiles on the faces of people who need a little pampering with a makeover.
