Anabel’s Angels’ Makeover Winner: Nancy Survived Cancer Like A Champ
Every Friday in October, we're giving someone who is currently dealing with cancer or who has survived it a makeover, courtesy of Anabel's Angels, a 501c3 nonprofit organization designed to provide support to underfunded clinical trials and programs for the terminally ill and physically afflicted.
Nancy Goan is from Westbrook, Maine. Nancy was nominated by her niece, Mari, for a makeover, and wrote the following about her.:
My name is Mari, I am Nancy’s niece. I have signed her up for this, because I feel she deserves this. You would have never known she was sick. She did her radiation and chemo like a champ! When she lost her hair, she didn’t complain once. She stayed positive and was her amazing self. Nancy is the strongest, most brave person I know!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is Anabel's Angels and 94.9 HOM's hope to bring light into our listeners' lives and put smiles on the faces of people who need a little pampering with a makeover.
