Join the fun on Saturday, May 17th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Allspeed Cyclery & Snow, 936 Brighton Ave in Portland, for the city’s best used bike sale event. Whether you’re looking to buy a new-to-you bike or sell one that’s been gathering dust, this is the place to be.

For sellers, it’s simple. Drop off your bike anytime between Monday, May 6, and Friday, May 16th, before 6 p.m. Allspeed’s staff will help you price your bike and enter it into the swap. If it sells, you can choose your payout: 95% in store credit or 75% via check. Just remember that no bikes are accepted after Friday at 6 p.m., and unsold bikes must be picked up by Wednesday, May 21st, or they’ll be donated to a local charity.
All bikes must be in safe, working condition. No department store brands will be accepted, and e-bikes must be fully functional with keys and chargers included. All gear is sold as-is, with no warranties or returns.

Buying? Just show up on Saturday and browse a wide selection of quality used bikes,  from mountain and road bikes to hybrids, cruisers, and kids’ bikes. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to help guide your choice. I recommend arriving early for the best selection.
Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I rode a bike, but this might be the perfect excuse to pick up a new hobby and get myself some good exercise.
