Looking at the low temperatures in some towns in Northern Maine this morning might make your teeth chatter! According to WMTW, it was well below freezing in several towns, and a few even broke records. It got down to 26 degrees in Caribou, breaking the previous record low of 27. And in Houlton it was 23 degrees. The coldest it had been on this date before today was 25.

The lowest temperature award in the state for this morning goes to Winterville, with a low of 18 degrees. Now that's one award that I wouldn't want to win!
