World Responds to Dog Abandoned at Train Station

Who could just leave this beautiful animal alone and afraid at a train station? Well, there is hope for this shar-pei crossbreed named Kai who was left with a suitcase of belongings. People from around the world have offered to help. The Scottish SPCA is now caring for Kai who needs an eye operation. A fundraising campaign has been set up to help pay for his needed surgery and care. About $2,000 has been raised so far.  Kai was microchipped and they were able to discover his name. The original owner who had Kai microchipped is reported to have said that the dog was sold several years ago to an unknown person. Offers to adopt Kai have been coming into the shelter from around the world.  I'm sure that Kai will be able to find his forever always home with someone who can properly care for him with all this outpouring of love.
