So...what do Mainers Google 'how to' the most. I think I've actually done this!

Some of these are brilliant and funny as hell. Kansas Googles 'how to find Kansas'. In Florida, they want to know 'how to keep a man'. In Georgia, 'how to hotwire a car.'

But for Maine, the most Googled 'how to' is:

How to get rid of fruit flies.

Amen! Second was 'how to knit' and third was 'how to use a compass'. Pretty darn accurate I'd say.

Who figured this all out? Estately:

Here at Estately, we were determined to find out which how-to questions internet users in each state asked more frequently than others. What we uncovered was both surpristing and extremely predictable. Using Google Autocomplete, we compiled hundreds of the most common how-to questions Americans type into the Google search bar. We then ran those searches through Google Trends to determine which state queried each of these selected searches the most over the past 5 years.

Impressive. Entertain yourself and read some of what the rest of the country wants to know 'how to'...
