Maine Pothole Photos Wanted

You can't drive down the street without hitting a pothole this time of year. Mainers spend an average of $296 on car repairs due to poor roads. To have a little fun, there's now a pothole contest.

The Maine Better Transportation Association is having a photo contest for the worst road in the state of Maine.  Submit your photo and you could win $296. The association says potholes and frost heaves make state roads some of the worst in the nation. The deadline for submission is May 15th at their website.
