The Portland Symphony Orchestra's Magic Of Christmas has become a holiday tradition for generations of Maine families. And the magic returns this weekend! Don't miss Magic Of Christmas, with shows at the Merrill Auditorium December 14th through the 23rd. I've seen this show before, and it certainly is a wonderful experience. And I have my tickets for this year… In fact, I'm going to see the performance tomorrow afternoon.

The great thing about Magic Of Christmas is that it changes a little bit every year. So if you've seen it before, there's reason to come back and see it again. But you know you'll always get the same quality performance from the Portland Symphony Orchestra!

This year, Bruce Hangen returns as conductor. Bruce is familiar to Maine orchestra goers through his previous role as music director of the Portland Symphony Orchestra in the late 70s and his more recent visit to Portland to conduct the October 16 PSO concert. The eagerly anticipated traditions remain as part of the performances, including the Magic of Christmas Chorus, the orchestra’s lively rendition of Sleigh Ride, and the rousing Holiday Sing-along.
