27 Mainers are now homeless after a fire destroyed their apartment building in Augusta.  Most left with just the clothes on their backs.  All their clothing, photos and possessions are gone. As you can imagine, it will take time to rebuild their lives. A fund has been set up to assist them. The United Way of Kennebec Valley has created a Go Fund Me account for anyone who would like to help the fire victims. The UWKV fund page states, "Funds will be managed by United Way of Kennebec Valley and a committee which includes The American Red Cross of Maine."
