Fierce Battle Rages in Cupcake Challenge [Photos]
The fight to become a finalist in the 94.9 HOM Cupcake Challenge continues. Bacon, coconuts, beer and lime are just some of the ingredients used by the latest batch of contestants.
Karen Levesque’s weapon of choice is the Hydrangea Cupcake. This is a decadent, moist chocolate cake filled with a whipped dark chocolate ganache and topped with a fluffy Madagascar vanilla buttercream frosting. Megan Scanio of Sugar Momma Cupcakes & Cake Pops has her eye on the guys with her Man Cave Man Cake…Beer, Bacon, and Chocolate – what more does a man need? This chocolate stout cupcake is filled with extra dark chocolate ganache and topped with vanilla bean cream cheese frosting, drizzles of rich caramel, and applewood smoked bacon. Teddy will be first in line for this little beauty.
