Went to my fiances family reunion last week and thought I would share one of their traditions and hopefully learn some of yours-

Every 2 years Honey's family gets together at Sebago Lake State Park in Casco. I was invited a while back when we first started dating. Fell in love with the area and actually got engaged there two years ago.

The first family reunion I attended, the family would sell a Family Cookbook called:  A Taste of Family Tradition, Stairs-Bailey Family Recipes.  The Family Cookbook would contain homemade family recipes from breads, biscuits, entrees, soups and of course, desserts.

If Jennifer's whoopie pies at the reunion were to die for, I would search my trusty Family Cookbook to see if it was in there for me to re-create.  Or I could try to duplicate Aunt Marilyn's fruit dip by searching the Family Cookbook.  Also, if I wasn't a fan of the pee wiggle, I would know to stay away from that section of the cookbook.

Each family member contributes whatever recipe's they have either created or just one that is a favorite.

When the book is done copies are available to family members for $10. Outsiders can purchase them for $15. All the money goes to funding the family reunion. (plenty of copies available)

Needless to say the family gets some use out of them!
