You Need to Binge Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind’ for Mainer Cameron
Netflix recently rolled out a new dating reality show called Love is Blind.
The show begins in a house where all the men and women are separated. They then embark on speed dating of sorts where they all "meet" potential partners in hopes of falling in love. The catch? They don't actually get to see each other. They "date" in pods separated by a wall so all they can do is chat and fall in love with the personality and not be distracted by appearances.
In less than a week a handful of couples fall in love, proposals happen in the pods, and they get to meet in person the next day.
The happily engaged couples are then swept away to a resort in Mexico for a romantic getaway to see if the physical connection matches the emotional connection.
If the couple survives paradise they then move in with each other and meet family and friends to see if the couple can build on their foundation in the real world.
Crazy, right?
The show culminates with the couples getting married after only having known each other for less than 2 months. Netflix has been rolling out new episodes weekly. The wedding episode is set to be released on the 27th.
An early stand-out contestant is Cameron, a scientist from Lee, Maine.
With a spectacular smile and a charm that shines through a wall, Cameron is able to find love early on in the show.
If you don't want the show spoiled so you can follow his whirlwind romance yourself, check out the trailer then go watch! It's not like you have anything better to do this weekend, right? Want the tea on Cameron and his lady? Keep reading!

Cameron connects with Lauren almost immediately and proposes in just 5 days. The unique dynameic between the couple? They're interracial as Cameron is white and Lauren is black. Through the show we learn that Cameron has been in an interracial relationship before where Lauren has not. Lauren even admits that she typically doesn't date outside her race band is grateful for the experiement of the show, otherwise she may have never found a connection like she has with Cameron.
