You Can Go Ice Fishing in Maine for Free This Weekend

Sure this time of year is all about flowers and chocolate for some, but for others is all about getting your buddies together with a 30-rack on the lake waiting for the fish to bite.

Curious about what you've been missing? This weekend, February 15th-16th you can go ice fishing for free in the state of Maine. Unless, of course, your fishing license has been revoked or suspended.

Not from Maine and just visiting? No problem, this is open to residents and non-residents alike!

As an added incentive for trying something new, or bringing someone new with you, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife is giving away $100 to Cabela's. All you have to do is take a photo of the newbie and post it on the Facebook post below and you're in to win.
