Nikki caused an uproar on HOM’s Facebook page when she wrote about WMTW's new news anchor who is moving to Maine and starting his new job next Monday. She made a couple of what she thought were compliments about his appearance, stating that he was a "cutie patootie" and "easy on the eyes." Many people called her out, saying her comments were sexist and inappropriate. One person even said it could be grounds for a lawsuit:
