We all have that traffic light in our town that is the bane of our existence. I remember there was one in my hometown of Leominster, Massachusetts, that would turn green for five seconds and then be red for three minutes. I know this because I timed it one day. I know, I really need to get a life. Uncooperative traffic lights can make you feel like you are losing your mind. There is one in particular light in Rochester, New Hampshire, that has people feeling this way. As it turns out, the dang thing is broken! Or at least that's what people suspect.

A while back, a guy named Glenn Hayes posted in the "You KNOW you're from Rochester, NH if you..." Facebook page and brought up the wacky traffic light on Milton Road as you are leaving the Lilac Mall. He has noticed that if he is leaving and turning left, while in the far left lane, he has no issues. But if he is turning left and he's in the middle lane, that light WILL NOT CHANGE. When this happens, he turns into the left lane, and then it changes. He asked the group if anyone else has noticed this, or is he out of his ever-loving tree.

It turns out Glenn is not crazy (at least about this)! Tons of people left comments like "Oh man! I thought it was just me!" The general consensus is that there are probably sensors in the ground by the lights, but the one in the middle lane is worn out. How annoying!

Inquiring minds need to know: is that light still giving people grief, or did it finally get fixed? It's me, I need to know.
